My background in teaching
Hello! I’m Hannah, the founder of Complete School Reports. I have been teaching for 8 years and I have a passion for education and helping others.
My journey started the very first time I had to write reports. I can remember feeling overwhelmed, stressed and tired. I was responsible for 30 individual report cards. ‘What if they weren’t detailed enough? What if my principal didn’t like them? What if a parent didn’t agree with what I have said?’ These were just some of the reoccurring thoughts in my head!
I have dealt with the late nights, the frustrated spouse, the long days at school when it’s reporting time and the rigorous, never-ending editing process. I often said to my husband ‘There just has to be an easier way to write reports!’ His response sparked the start of Complete School Reports when he said, ‘why can’t you be the one to create a solution?’
That’s when Complete School Reports was created. I worked with a group of dedicated teachers around Australia to develop report comments. Each comment is professionally written, detailed and linked to the Australian Curriculum.
I believe all teachers should have a better work-life balance and not feel stressed during reporting time. That’s why I created Complete School Reports.
My Mission and Vision
Here at Complete School Reports, our mission is simple. We believe in saving teachers time and stress. Your energy should be put into your classroom and you should have the freedom to spend more time with your family. We want teachers all over Australia to spend more time doing what they love.
